Perpetual Education Fund Training

Excerpt from an e-mail Richard wrote, "We are having a great experience at the MTC. It's very busy. They literally have us going morning, noon, and night. Language training and much of the welfare training is in addition to normal training and there is homework every night. Tomorrow we have to skip a full day of Preach My Gospel training to go to Salt Lake for a full day of Perpetual Education Fund training that we didn't even know about until this afternoon. It will be in the Joseph Smith Building and two general authorities (Elder Carmack and Elder Richard Cook) will talk to us and breakfast and dinner is provided. They treat the senior missionaries pretty well. We will be in SLC again on Monday for a tour and training on the Church's Welfare/Humanitarian program and facilities. We have also taught two Preach My Gospel lessons to outside volunteers. Last night we had a wonderful fireside with Elder Groberg. Even though it is very busy we are really loving it and have made so many new friends. We just met thirteen new elders and sisters that just came in and will be going to Mongolia. It was great!"

And in another e-mail he wrote, "We are thrilled to be on our mission and enjoy the great spirit here in the MTC. It is truly amazing. We love being missionaries!"
