Language Testimony Meeting

All of the couples who are at the MTC and are currently taking language classes joined together this evening for a wonderful testimony meeting. It was amazing to hear nine different languages spoken in testimonies--Vietnamese, Mongolian (of course), Japanese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Richard said he understood almost all of the Dutch couple's testimonies. Sarantuya was there and I gave her a big hug and Richard, too, when I finished mine. Richard did a great job! It's amazing to think that soon we will be in Mongolia trying to talk to real Mongolians!

  2. What a fun experience! Sounds like there have been a lot of senior missionaries hard at work with their language training. That is neat that Dad could still understand so much Dutch still.

We had a lovely day yesterday up at the cabin with Grandma and Karie. It was very hot in the valley but up in the canyon it was about 15 degrees less. We had lunch, played games, and went on a nature walk. Then last night we went to "Butlerville Days" with Karie and Mikey and Steve and his girlfriend. We sat on the grass right behind Cottonwood Elementary to watch the fireworks. It was a great show and the quickest we have ever gotten home from fireworks.

  3. Oh, that gives me chills! What a neat experience. I'm glad things are going so great in the MTC. Sounds like they're getting you as much training as they can before you leave Friday. How exciting!
